2025 "Her Time to Play" Camps with Tyra Davison

Where : MAPLE GROVE MIDDLE SCHOOL 

When : August 12 & 13; 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Who: Girls Grades: 3-8
Campers will be divided into groups by grade, skill level & friend requests.

Early Bird Price: $40/session
After July 1st: $45/session

Camp Description: 
Midwest 3 on 3 is excited to bring in Tyra Davison (see bio below) to host these sessions exclusively for girls. The camp will be led by Tyra Davison and mostly an all-female coaching staff.

Session 1 - August 12th - Skill Development & Attacking

- Cut Attacks

Session 2 - August 13th - Competition & Game Action
- Transition 1 on 1
- Wing 1 on 1
- Ball Screen Playing

TYRA (BUSS) DAVISON

Tyra is a former standout basketball player at Mt. Carmel High School in Illinois and later at Indiana University. She achieved significant success in both high school and college, earning multiple accolades and setting records. She is a Two Time Ms. Basketball in the state of Illinois and the All-Time leading scorer at Indiana University. After her playing career, she transitioned to coaching, holding positions at the University of Evansville and Milwaukee. Tyra continued her professional basketball career playing at a high level in Lithuania and Spain.

Tyra co-directs the Davison GRITT Skills Camps alongside her husband, Brad Davison, a former Maple Grove High School and University of Wisconsin standout.

Tyra and Brad’s camps emphasize core values encapsulated in the acronym GRITT: Gratitude, Relationships, Identity, Toughness and Truth. Through this program, Tyra is committed to developing both the athletic skills and personal growth of young athletes.

Midwest 3 on 3 is extremely proud to bring in Tyra to lead our girls’ camps and inspire the next generation of female athletes—both on and off the court.
