Our 2020 Skills and Game Play session is geared towards the younger athlete and will consist of 45 minutes of skills/concepts and 15 minutes of games. Players will be split by skill level and get to build up their skills in a fun environment with our experienced coaching staff.
Skills Include: passing and catching, pivoting, ball handling and shooting.
Concepts include: how to get open, triple threat, pass and cut, pass and screen away, and ball screen action for the older group.
Dates: Sundays - May 31, June 7, 14 & 21

K - 2nd Grade: times tbd (likely 5:30pm-6:30pm) *8-9 ft hoops
3rd - 4th Grade: times tbd (likely 6:35-7:35pm) *10 ft hoops
*Schedule based on 3 on 3 league start time.

*Players for skills and game play sign up as an individual. 3rd-4th graders are allowed to participate in the league and in the skills & game play sessions if they would like. Please note on the registration form if you plan on participating in both. Skills & game play sessions will be directed by Pat Freeman or Annie Isler.
Each camp will be directed by Pat Freeman. Pat brings 14 years of camp experience and has directed clinics with Karl-Anthony Towns, Zach LaVine, Lindsay Whalen, Maya Moore and other professional athletes. Pat's daily energy and enthusiasm brings out the best in every player. Pat has worked with many successful high school and college players that have attended the following universities: Marquette University, University of Wisconsin, University of Colorado, University of Missouri, University of Vermont, University of Nebraska-Omaha, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Northern State University, and many more!
Pat currently trains some of the top high school players in the state as well as younger players in the beginning stages of their basketball careers. Pat's positive, encouraging personality and ability to challenge each player, no matter their age or skill level, make him one of the top basketball trainers in Minnesota.
